Job Description
- Permanent Remote or Flexible working hour & hybrid work mode
Seeking a Senior Payroll Professional to oversee payroll processing for multiple Asian countries. Responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. Ideal for those with expertise in Asian payroll regulations and strong attention to detail.
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple Asian countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
Perform payroll reconciliations and audits to ensure accuracy of payments and deductions.
Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations across Asian countries and implement necessary updates to payroll processes.
Provide guidance and support to junior payroll staff, ensuring they adhere to established processes and standards.
Qualifications
At least 5 years payroll experience (qualifications not essential but advanced knowledge required)
Experience of payroll processing in more than one APAC country ; ideally any of: Korea, India, Taiwan, Malaysia or Singapore but training provided
Excellent communication written and verbal - Language – English, Malay Proficiency in other Asian languages would be an added advantage.
An advantage if worked within global organization and culture
Good systems knowledge working with automated processes (Successfactors?)
Ability to work with processes and identify improvements for efficiency and standardisation
