Senior Import/Export Analyst

Job Description

The Senior Import / Export Analyst will provide expertise for Trade Compliance export and/or import activities, and may act as a trainer and mentor of Trade Compliance Analysts and Specialists. Assists in the classification or licensing of products for export and/ or import, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and releasing export compliance-related holds on shipments after all Trade Compliance requirements are satisfied.

The Senior Import / Export Analyst will maintains working knowledge of all applicable export/import regulations, providing updates to management regarding current and pending compliance regulation initiatives and legislation that may affect company business, ensuring various registrations with government agencies are kept up to date as required by regulations.

Supports Trade Compliance Management at the site, Regional or Global level with Trade Compliance issues, such as Export License Determination and End User documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Understanding of trade compliance regulations in the designated region, such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Foreign Assets Control Regulations (FACR), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and US Customs and Border Protection Regulations

  • Strong organizational skills,

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Problem-solving skills, analyzing possible solutions with technical expertise, judgment, and precedents

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Presentation skills

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task

  • Strong prioritization skills

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Team, web browsers, and database management tools.

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $85,000 - $127,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
